Sorry, DC. Can't really help you, but while our fellow Savages ponder your noise, here's mine to ponder:
At a certain RPM (who knows.... no tach!) I get this buzz/rattle sound. Sounds like a loose washer vibrating against metal. If the RPMs are slower and I hit a bump, I get the same noise, but not sustained. Sounds like it's coming from the vicinity if the triple tree area, possibly a little further back (under the tank). It is not the headlight (Took it apart, no loose things (of course now it rattles too!).
Any help?
